Premium Interior Detail FAQs
Q: Is there a significant difference from the basic level?
A: Yes, the premium interior detail features everything from the basic level plus the removal of all of the gunk, dirt and debris that gets embedded in your carpets. Things like pet hair gets stuck in the carpets of your vehicle and requires an additional process in order to have it removed entirely.
Not to mention if you haven’t had your interior detailed in awhile, your carpet and floor mats could have years of dirt inside of them that’s invisible to the naked eye and you wouldn’t even know. The premium interior detail easily takes care of that compared to the basic level.
Q: Can you guys take care of a specific stain?
A: Of course we can. If you have a typical stain, like coffee for example, we can remove it for you quickly without any hassle. If you want us to remove more than 2-3 stains, there may be a slight upcharge depending on the size and severity.
As for stains like vomit, blood, mold, etc., those are considered a biohazard and the price will be raised based on size and severity. We have to protect ourselves while we work and dealing with these types of stains requires certain procedures.
We don’t guarantee every stain will go away completely due to some of them being there so long but we will do the best we can to remove as much of it as we can.
Q: How long does this level of service take?
A: Since there are more parts to this service package, it can last anywhere between 4-5 hours on average, not including the time it takes to set up. Depending on the size of the vehicle and the condition, it may take more or less time to complete. If you decide to add something, please be aware that will increase the completion time as well.
Q: Do I have to do anything before you start performing this service?
A: The only thing we ask you to do is remove any personal belongings from your interior that you don’t want us to touch. If you want us to clean your glovebox, we encourage you to remove everything so that we clean that area without having to move your personal stuff around.
Q: How long will it take for the interior to dry?
A: This is dependent on what services are performed and the level at which they’re performed. With the premium interior detail, we don’t clean entire seats or floors because we don’t have the proper equipment. Instead,we do spot treatment on these areas so there is less to dry.
As far as floor mats go, they should be dry by the end of the detail. We extract them to remove as much water and solution as possible from the shampoo process. Once they’re extracted, they are left to air dry for the rest of the detail. If there is still some water left, we’ll dry it with a microfiber towel.
